Greater Hume Council is seeking a casual Customer Relations Officer to join our team across Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook and Jindera. The role blends customer service with library support, engaging with community members and delivering high-quality services across Council locations.

You will be the first point of contact for enquiries, provide accurate information, and assist with library operations and events. The role requires flexibility and willingness to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer service in a busy public environment.
• Ability to manage customer enquiries and provide accurate information.
• Proficient in using CRM systems and basic admin duties.
• Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and a valid NSW driver license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for Council enquiries in person and by phone.
• Deliver excellent customer service and provide accurate information.
• Maintain records of customer interactions in CRM systems.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve enquiries.
• Support Services Australia, NSW TrainLink, Companion Animals, Riverina Regional Library services.
• Assist with day-to-day operation of Council libraries, including programs and events.
• Contribute to reporting and administrative activities.
