Job summary

EVT is seeking an experienced breakfast chef to join our QT Hotels & Resorts brand in Newcastle. You will work mainly breakfast and lunch shifts in a small team, delivering an exceptional à la carte breakfast experience to guests and supporting the wider kitchen.

The role requires 2+ years as a CDP in hotels, restaurants, cafes or bistros, ability to train juniors, strong communication, attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.

• 2+ years’ experience as a CDP in hotels, restaurants, cafes, or bistros.
• Experience across sections including pans, grill and larder.
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Attention to detail, well-presented and high standards of cleanliness.

We are looking for an experienced full-time breakfast chef to join the team. This is a great role for someone that is looking to work mainly breakfast and lunch shifts. You will be working in a small team to deliver an excellent breakfast a la carte offering to guests and support the wider team across the hotel.

• 2+ years’ worth of experience as a CDP in hotels, restaurants, cafes, or bistros.
• Experience across different sections including pans, grill and larder.
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Attention to detail, well-presented and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure, while still delivering a high standard.
