Sisters of Saint Joseph in Hunters Hill NSW is seeking a casual Community Support Worker to provide practical, social and wellbeing support to elderly Sisters in aged care and local communities. Role focuses on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with some flexibility.

We value compassionate care, independence and teamwork. The successful candidate will uphold safeguarding commitments and complete mandatory training as part of our caring community.

Formación

• Certificate III or IV in Ageing, Aged Care, Community Services or equivalent.
• Experience supporting older people in aged care or community settings.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-to-one support, companionship and social engagement to Sisters in aged care.
• Transport and escort Sisters to appointments.
• Visit and support Sisters during hospital admissions.
• Assist with shopping and day-to-day in-room tasks.
• Check equipment and report concerns; maintain safety and dignity.
• Attend team meetings and mandatory training.
