Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• WWCC clearance or willingness to obtain if required.
• Experience in aged care or healthcare setting desirable.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely.
• Flexibility to work across varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Support residents with toileting and continence management.
• Aid mobility and transfers using safe manual handling.
• Provide meal and dining assistance to residents needing support.
• Maintain clean and safe resident rooms and common areas.
• Respond promptly and compassionately to requests and concerns.
• Communicate changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.
• Encourage social engagement and recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per policy.
• Follow infection control and health & safety procedures at all times.
