Job summary

The Benevolent Society is hiring Aged Care Support Workers in the North Sydney area for casual home-care shifts. You will assist older clients with daily tasks, personal care and social activities, helping them stay safe, comfortable and connected in their community.

Roles require availability on weekdays; travel between client homes is expected, with driving a requirement. Salary packaging and superannuation apply, with Friday availability preferred.

Qualifications

Current driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Aged Care, Home Care or Disability (desirable).
Current First Aid & CPR certification.
Clear communication skills and a friendly, respectful approach.
Reliable, punctual and committed to quality care.
Flexible availability to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

Providing personal care such as showering, grooming and hygiene.
Assisting with meal preparation and light household tasks.
Supporting clients with shopping, appointments and social outings.
Observing and reporting changes in a client's wellbeing.
Following care plans and completing basic documentation.
Serving regions across Ryde, Epping, Eastwood, Pymble and Chatswood.
