Job summary

Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group is seeking a Community Care Support Worker to visit elderly clients at home across the St George and Sutherland regions. You will provide personal and practical assistance, build rapport with clients and families, and document care progress in notes.

The role offers day shifts on weekdays and weekends, with flexibility and potential for ongoing hours as the service grows. Applicants must have a valid Australian driver’s licence and NDIS checks.

Qualifications

• Experienced as a Support Worker delivering care to the elderly in the community.
• Motivated, compassionate, confident working autonomously with excellent communication.
• Active NDIS Worker Screening Check and vaccination, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Travel to elderly clients who live at home in the St George and Sutherland areas.
• Develop positive relationships and deliver high-quality customer service.
• Assist with daily activities such as outings, personal care, meals and domestic tasks.
• Complete progress notes reflecting client care.
• Maintain client mobility and independence by supporting home-based care.

About you

• Experienced as a Support Worker, providing care to the elderly in the community
• Motivated, compassionate, confident working autonomously, excellent communication skills, and able to develop rapport with clients and their families
• Valid overseas or unrestricted Australian driver's licence, a reliable car and willing to drive to people's homes in the community to provide support and care
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and flu vaccination, or willing to obtain
• Working rights in Australia (sponsorship will not be offered)
