Job summary

South West Hospital and Health Service in Charleville, Western Queensland, is seeking an experienced Caseload Midwife to join our rural team on a permanent basis. The role provides autonomous midwifery care within an all-risk model and delivers continuity of care to a defined caseload of women, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

You'll work in a bush setting with wide scope for professional development, supported by a generous Rural/Remote incentives package including isolation

Qualifications

• Caseload Midwife delivers direct midwifery care within an all-risk model.
• Provides continuity of midwifery care to a defined caseload of women.
• Autonomous practice within a rural/remote multidisciplinary service.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct midwifery services in a rural/remote setting.
• Coordinate and deliver continuity of care across the childbirth continuum.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support women and families.
