South West Hospital and Health Service in Charleville, Western Queensland, seeks a Caseload Midwife to join our team on a temporary basis. The role focuses on providing midwifery care within a rural/remote health service setting and working from Charleville to support pregnancy, labour and newborn care.

Applicants will provide midwifery services aligned with NMBA standards and Queensland Health context of care, collaborating with women to deliver comprehensive care in a remote community.

Responsibilities

• The Caseload Midwife provides midwifery services within the rural/remote health service setting.
• The Caseload Midwife works in partnership with women to give necessary support, care and advice during pregnancy, labour and the postpartum period to conduct births and provide newborn care.
