Job summary
North West Hospital and Health Service in rural Queensland is seeking Clinical Midwives, Registered Midwives and Lactation Consultants to join our team and deliver continuity of care across antenatal, birthing, postnatal and home visiting services.
Positions include town-based and outreach settings with opportunities for professional development, generous leave, relocation support and 12.75% superannuation, plus travel benefits and leave entitlements.
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary degree in Midwifery.
- Registration/licence as a Registered Midwife.
- Criminal History checks will be conducted.
- Vaccination/immunity for Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
Responsibilities
- Deliver continuity of care and core midwifery services.
- Provide antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and home visiting support.
- Participate in staff development, mentoring and training.
