South West Hospital and Health Service in Charleville, Western Queensland, is seeking an experienced Caseload Midwife to join our rural team on a permanent basis. The role provides autonomous midwifery care within an all-risk model and delivers continuity of care to a defined caseload of women, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

You'll work in a bush setting with wide scope for professional development, supported by a generous Rural/Remote incentives package including isolation

Are you an experienced Midwife seeking a rural and remote adventure?

South West Hospital and Health Service has an exciting opportunity for a Caseload Midwife to permanently join our team in Charleville, Western Queensland!

The Caseload Midwife practices autonomously within the multidisciplinary team to provide midwifery services within a rural/remote health service setting. The Caseload Midwife is responsible for delivering direct midwifery care in an 'all risk' model whilst providing support and education to other team members.

The Caseload Midwife, in consultation with the Unit Manager, coordinates and provides continuity of midwifery care to a defined caseload of women, using primary health care principles and a problem-solving approach across the childbirth continuum.

Charleville is a designated Remote Area Nursing Incentive Package (RANIP) site in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State 2015. This attracts additional entitlements which may include:

• An annual isolation bonus paid annually!
• Return airfares to the nearest provincial city in conjunction with leave!
• Additional annual leave per annum!
