Job summary

RFBI's Dubbo Village is seeking aged care Carers to join our dedicated team. You will provide personal care services to residents and support daily living activities, along with basic clinical tasks under supervision.

We are an award-winning, not-for-profit provider delivering quality aged care. The role requires a Certificate III in Aged Care, strong communication, and a current First Aid certificate, with eligibility to work in Australia and a friendly, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care is required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in an aged care environment is preferred.
• Current First Aid Certificate is required.
• Eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom residents and assist with meals and bed making.
• Provide basic clinical care including wound dressings and medication assistance; record observations.
• Support care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Enter reports and observations into the iCare system.
• Assist following directions of the Care Manager to deliver person-centred care.

Job Description

We are currently seeking aged care Carers to join our wonderful team and work at our Dubbo Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents.

We are an award winning, leading aged care provider delivering best quality aged care services that are making a difference in people's lives.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
• Providing basic clinical care including; wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
• Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care
