Job summary

RFBI's Raleigh Urunga Masonic Village is seeking an experienced aged care carer to join our team, delivering a wide range of personal care services to residents. You will perform tasks such as showering, dressing, grooming, assisting with meals, and basic clinical care including wound dressings, medication delivery, and recording observations in iCare.

We support diabetes care and other conditions under the guidance of the Care Manager, to ensure person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care is required.
• Experience in an aged care environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom residents and assist with meals and bedmaking.
• Provide basic clinical care including wound dressings, medication delivery and recording observations.
• Care for residents with diabetes, arthritis and other conditions as directed.
• Enter reports and observations into the iCare system.
• Assist and follow directions from the Care Manager to deliver person‑centred care.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
• Providing basic clinical care including; wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
• Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care
