Job summary

RFBI seeks an experienced aged care carer to join our team at Goulburn Masonic Village. You will provide a broad range of personal care services to residents, helping with daily activities and basic clinical tasks with accuracy and compassion.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care required.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Previous aged care experience preferred.
• Current First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with showering, dressing, grooming, meals and bed-making.
• Provide basic clinical care including wound dressings and medication delivery.
• Manage care plans for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Enter reports and observations into iCare computer system.
• Follow directions of Care Manager to achieve person-centred care.

We are currently seeking an experienced aged care carer to join our wonderful team and work at our Goulburn Masonic Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents.

The Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution (known as RFBI) is a non-for profit (NFP) organisation that has been in operation for 146 years. We currently operate 22 residential aged care villages, 20 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
• Providing basic clinical care including; wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
• Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care
