Infinite Aged Care Pty Ltd is seeking a Duty Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations across care-home shifts and collaborate with Heads of Department to deliver excellence. The role focuses on supervising operations, staffing, and resident experience, with the General Manager setting expectations.

The ideal candidate has an operations or team-lead background from any industry, with a strong customer-service mindset and a passion for elder care.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Ability to address resident concerns with empathy and efficiency to maintain high satisfaction.
• Excellent attention to detail when monitoring compliance, standards, and documentation.
• Effective time-management and prioritisation in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional service to elderly residents with a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to mentor, train, and support team members to enhance performance.

Responsibilities

• Walking through the home to ensure a warm, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Reviewing staffing allocations, responding to unplanned leave, and ensuring adequate coverage for continuous care.
• Checking in with all departments to support smooth daily operations.
• Overseeing meal services, ensuring dining areas are prepared and residents enjoy dining experience.
• Coordinating new admissions and discharges, ensuring rooms are ready and families feel supported.
• Managing feedback and resolving issues promptly, ensuring actions are documented and closed out.
• Supporting the resolution of complaints with a focus on resident experience.
