Newcastle Anglican is seeking experienced Care Assistants to join our Aged Care Facility Storm Village in Taree on a permanent Part-Time basis. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, delivering compassionate, person-centred care in a supportive team environment.

Shifts are afternoon, with a competitive hourly rate up to $34.59 and additional benefits such as salary packaging, private health insurance discounts, and staff development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current First Aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

The Opportunity

Full Time Care Assistant - 76 hours per fortnight

Afternoon shifts

Newcastle Anglican is seeking experienced Care Assistants to join on a permanent Part-Time basis at our Aged Care Facility Storm Village in Taree. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care home.

About you?

• Certificate III/IV in Individual or Ageing Support, or 2nd/3rd Yr RN student
• Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain
• An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to accurately document resident's care/progress
