Job summary

Newcastle Anglican seeks a Care Assistant for Bishop Tyrrell Place in Cundletown on a permanent part-time basis. The role involves delivering person-centred care in our residential aged care home, supported by a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will work across morning, afternoon and night shifts with a commitment to compassion, respect and residents’ wellbeing. Right to work in Australia required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Ageing Support or RN student status as appropriate.
• Current First Aid Certificate is preferred.
• Ability to document resident care clearly and accurately.

The Opportunity: Part Time Care Assistant - 56hours per fortnight A mixture of Morning, Afternoon and Night shifts

Newcastle Anglican is seeking experienced Care Assistants to join on a permanent Part-Time basis at our Aged Care Facility Bishop Tyrell Place in Cundletown. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care home.

About you?

• Certificate III/IV in Individual or Ageing Support, or 2nd/3rd Yr RN student
• Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain
• An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to accurately document resident's care/progress
