Youi Insurance in Sydney is seeking a Car Assessing Team Manager to lead and develop a team of assessors, ensuring high-quality outcomes and exceptional customer experiences. You will coach, mentor, and partner with repairers and stakeholders to deliver excellent service.

You will oversee operations, manage escalations, and drive continuous improvement while balancing customer outcomes with team performance and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in panel beating, spray painting, mechanical repairs or related automotive trade.
• A current driver\'s license.
• At least 5 years\' experience in motor assessing.
• Experience leading, coaching or developing team members.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to balance customer, quality and commercial outcomes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.
• Comfort with using technology and business applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of assessors.
• Monitor team performance and drive achievement of key operational KPIs.
• Oversee day-to-day assessing operations and service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with customers, repairers and key stakeholders.
• Manage escalations and support effective issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with legislative and business requirements.
