Youi Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Car Assessing Team Manager to lead and develop a team of assessors, delivering high-quality outcomes for customers and strong relationships with repairers. You will oversee day-to-day assessing operations, monitor performance against KPIs, manage escalations, and ensure compliance while fostering a positive culture focused on continuous improvement.

A trade qualification and 5+ years' motor assessing experience are required.

Qualifications

• A trade qualification in panel beating, spray painting, mechanical repairs, or a related automotive trade.
• A current driver's licence.
• At least 5 years' experience in motor assessing.
• Experience leading, coaching or developing team members.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to balance customer, quality and commercial outcomes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.
• Confidence using technology and business applications.

This is more than a people leadership role. You'll be a coach, mentor and trusted adviser, helping your team deliver outstanding results while building strong relationships with repairers and key stakeholders.

Working closely with assessors, customers, repairers and internal teams, you'll drive operational performance, manage complex issues, support continuous improvement, and ensure quality and compliance standards are consistently achieved. Your ability to balance customer outcomes, team performance and business objectives will make a real impact.
