Youi Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Car Assessing Team Manager to lead and develop a team of assessors, delivering high-quality outcomes for customers and strong relationships with repairers. You will oversee day-to-day assessing operations, monitor performance against KPIs, manage escalations, and ensure compliance while fostering a positive culture focused on continuous improvement.

A trade qualification and 5+ years' motor assessing experience are required.

Qualifications

• A trade qualification in panel beating, spray painting, mechanical repairs, or a related automotive trade.
• A current driver's licence.
• At least 5 years' experience in motor assessing.
• Experience leading, coaching or developing team members.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to balance customer, quality and commercial outcomes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.
• Confidence using technology and business applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of assessors.
• Monitor team performance and drive achievement of key operational KPIs.
• Oversee day-to-day assessing operations and service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with customers, repairers and key stakeholders.
• Manage escalations and support effective issue resolution.
