Youi in Australia is seeking a qualified Assessor to step off the tools and sign off repairs, ensuring fair claims and smooth customer recovery. You’ll inspect vehicles on-site and on-road, review estimates, and progress claims with accuracy.
Training starts with three weeks at the Chermside office, travel covered. You’ll gradually build your own portfolio while balancing desktop reviews and field work, with options like a 9-day fortnight and 22 days’ annual leave.
You'll love this role if you're somebody who wants to step off the tools and be the one signing off the repair, helping customers get back on the road when life hasn’t gone to plan.
You’ll inspect vehicles, scope the damage, review quotes, and make the call on what’s fair and reasonable. Some days you’ll be out on the road assessing vehicles. Other times you’ll be back home reviewing estimates, writing reports and progressing claims.
It’s a full 38-hour week and the days can be busy, moving between assessments, customers, and repairers. But compared to life in the workshop, it’s a different pace and easier on the body long term. Many Assessors also choose a 9-day fortnight and split their time between on-road inspections and desktop work from home.
Training starts with three weeks at our Chermside office learning how our repair model and policies work, travel covered. After that you’ll return home, shadow experienced Assessors and gradually build into your own portfolio.
