Job summary

Connect One Recruitment is seeking an experienced ICT Support Officer to join a Federal Government organisation in Canberra. The role focuses on frontline ICT support, incident resolution, and contributing to reliable, customer-focused ICT services.

The contract assignment runs onsite at Canberra with a 37.5 hour week (Mon-Fri), offering a competitive hourly rate and potential for extension. You'll work within the Business Systems Unit, support Microsoft on-premises and Azure AD environments,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering frontline ICT support in government or Commonwealth environments.
• Experience with Active Directory and cloud identity (Azure AD/Entra ID) is desirable.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and governance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline ICT support for hardware, software, network, account and device issues, including triaging and resolving service requests.
• Administer user accounts, systems, devices, software and ICT asset records; assist deployments and testing.
• Prepare ICT procedures, user guides, liaise with staff and service providers, support cyber security controls and patching.
