Job summary

Padua College, a Catholic secondary school on the Mornington Peninsula, seeks an Assistant Director of Campus – Learning and Pedagogy for Rosebud Campus. This 3-year tenure as a Leadership 4 position combines leadership with an ongoing teaching appointment.

The role leads curriculum development, pedagogy and evidence-based practices within the Learning and Teaching Framework, MACS Vision for Instruction, and Padua’s Instructional Model, reporting to the Vice Principal – Learning and Teaching.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead curriculum and teaching initiatives.
• Experience implementing learning frameworks and instructional models.
• Proven ability to coach teachers and drive professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Year 7–9 learning and teaching programs to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Lead capacity-building and promote a culture of learning across Campus by modelling Padua’s frameworks.
• Lead curriculum development and improve instructional practices aligned with MACS Vision for Instruction.
• Drive performance reviews, goal-setting and professional development for teaching staff.
• Collaborate with instructional coaches and campus leadership to advance school priorities.
• Support a safe, inclusive, high-performing learning environment.
• Lead ongoing evaluation of curriculum and teaching programs and implement improvements.
