Job summary

Marist Catholic College Penshurst in Sydney's south seeks a Campus Coordinator to work with the Assistant Principal to plan and manage campus activities, staff and student matters under the College Principal. This role is based at the Hurstville Campus for Year 7–8 (Stage 4), with potential duties at Mortdale Campus.

About the Role

As Campus Coordinator, you will have responsibility for providing quality Catholic education to the students in your care and work collaboratively with the Assistant Principal to plan and manage campus activities, as well as staff and student matters, under the leadership of the College Principal. This position is situated at our Hurstville Campus for Year 7-8 students (Stage 4). You may also be required to work across our Mortdale Campus as needed. You will need excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Requirements of the role
  • model and shape a high-performance College culture aligned to the school charism, characterised by continuous improvement and data-informed practice
  • demonstrate active engagement in the faith life of the College and commitment to Catholic education
  • support and develop staff through coaching, mentoring and professional growth opportunities
  • collaborate with the Assistant Principal to lead learning initiatives that improve student outcomes
  • implement student engagement, wellbeing and behaviour practices that support a safe and inclusive campus
  • promote high-quality teaching and learning in alignment to College priorities
  • effectively manage complex or escalated student, parent and staff matters with professionalism and sound judgement
  • work collaboratively with the General Administration Coordinator to ensure smooth campus operations
  • demonstrate a strategic understanding of schooling within the broader Church, community and educational context
  • maintain compliance with relevant policies and standards, including child safety, NESA requirements
  • (Category E) in the Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach and Lead or agree to meet these requirements in your first contract term.
