Job summary

Marist Catholic College North Shore seeks a dedicated TAS Teacher (Timber and Construction) to join our Catholic school community in 2027. You will deliver Timber/Construction education within a faith-based learning environment, emphasizing student-centred, inclusive, and rigorous instruction.

Applicants should hold a tertiary Education qualification with NESA accreditation and be committed to upholding Catholic values while supporting student outcomes and wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • Must have a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
  • Specialisation in Industrial Technology - Timber or Construction is required.
  • Religious Education qualifications or willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire students through engaging, student-centred teaching within a Catholic learning environment.
  • Deliver a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum focused on student-centred learning and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with staff to support student wellbeing and inclusive learning in a Catholic school setting.

About Our School

Marist Catholic College North Shore (MCCNS), is a coeducational K-12 Catholic Secondary School in the Archdiocese of Sydney, imbuing the faith life, values, work ethic and pragmatism of St. Marcellin Champagnat. The College is seeking highly skilled and committed TAS Teachers to commence in 2027. About You

As a TAS Teacher (Timber and Construction), you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

  • expertise in Technology Mandatory, with specialisation in Industrial Technology - Timber or Construction
  • strong classroom management and student well-being focus
  • ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
  • a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
  • Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
