About Our School

St Mary’s Cathedral College is a K-12 co-educational, dual campus, Catholic school. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced teacher with a strong academic background to join our highly successful TAS Faculty. This is an ongoing, full-time position, commencing Tuesday, 27 January 2026.

Position Highlights

  • Have the ability to teach Stage 4 Technology Mandatory and a combination of Stage 5 and 6 TAS courses, including Engineering Studies, Graphics Technology, Computing Technology, Enterprise Computing, Industrial Technology Multimedia, Industrial Technology Timber, and/or VET Construction
  • Be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively
  • Have a thorough understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirements in TAS
  • Demonstrate exemplary classroom practice and suitable qualifications
  • Be a dynamic and innovative practitioner of Technology with suitable experience in teaching, programming and assessment
  • Have demonstrated knowledge of NESA syllabi including assessment & reporting requirements which facilitate personalised learning
  • Show confidence with the integration of technology into the curriculum to promote quality learning principles
  • Have the ability to differentiate the curriculum to meet the diverse learning needs of the students
  • Demonstrate sound interpersonal skills and a willingness to work collaboratively as a team member
  • Have an understanding and an ability to support the Catholic life of the College

Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in Education
  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
