Job summary

St Francis Catholic College invites applications for a POL 3 House Leader at the Cobblebank Campus, commencing January 2027. The role oversees VET, SBAT and Workplace Learning, guiding staff, students and industry partners to deliver innovative, compliant programs.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor of Education (or equivalent), be registered with VIT, and demonstrate strong leadership, collaboration and faith-based values within a Catholic education setting.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Education or equivalent).
• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
• Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Vocational Education and Training (VET) program at Cobblebank Campus.
• Drive compliance, innovation and program excellence for students through VET, SBAT and Structured Workplace Learning.
• Support VCE-VM and VPC learners to engage in meaningful, future-focused opportunities.

Known and respected for its learning and wellbeing programs, the College opened a new campus in Cobblebank in 2023 with an intake of 140 Year 7 students and will accommodate 1500 Year 7-12 students by 2028.

POL 3 House Leader – Cobblebank Campus 2027

An exciting leadership opportunity exists for a passionate and organised educator to lead and grow the Vocational Education and Training (VET) program at our expanding Cobblebank Campus. This role plays a key part in shaping pathways for students through VET, SBAT and Structured Workplace Learning, while supporting VCE-VM and VPC learners to engage in meaningful, future-focused opportunities. Working closely with students, staff, families, TAFEs and industry partners, the VET Coordinator will drive compliance, innovation and program excellence, helping students build the skills, confidence and connections for life beyond school.

Commencing January 2027, this is a full-time, POL 3 position.

• Appropriate expertise and experience in the areas of Teaching & Learning.
• Demonstrated experience in leading best practice in the management of people and resources.li>

Skills & Experience Required

• Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)
• A strong commitment to Catholic education and the ethos of the College
• Ability to implement differentiated learning and use contemporary technology to support student outcomes
• An ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• An eagerness to learn.
