Job summary

Redeem Skills Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of AAP SA PTY LTD, trading as Fasta Pasta South Terrace, seeks an experienced, full-time Cafe or Restaurant Manager to oversee operations at our vibrant restaurant in Adelaide, SA.

The manager will lead front-of-house and kitchen teams, direct operational workflows, maintain compliance with food safety regulations, and uphold exceptional customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma (or higher) in Hospitality Management or equivalent relevant qualification or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience in café or restaurant management.
• Experience may be gained through full-time or part-time employment on a pro-rata basis, including eligible internships, industry placements, apprenticeships and traineeships.
• Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification is preferred.
• Australian work rights strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Menu & Function Planning: Plan and coordinate menus in consultation with the Head Chef; organise special events, functions, and group dining arrangements.
• Financial & Stock Management: Arrange purchasing and pricing of food, beverages, and restaurant supplies according to budget; conduct inventory stocktakes; maintain accurate transactions and stock records.
• Staff Leadership & RostER Coordination: Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor front-of-house and kitchen personnel; prepare weekly shift rosters and manage team performance.
• Health & Facility Compliance: Ensure dining facilities comply strictly with health, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations; maintain immaculate facility appearance and functionality.
• Customer Relations & Quality Control: Greet guests, assist with reservations and order taking during peak service hours, respond constructively to customer feedback, and ensure high food quality and service consistency.

• Relevant experience may be gained through full-time or part-time employment on a pro-rata basis, including eligible internships, industry placements, apprenticeships and traineeships. This work experience can be served concurrently with any work experience used to be substitute for formal qualifications.
• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is preferred.
