Job summary

Cafe Corp in Adelaide is seeking a hands-on Café Manager to take full ownership of daily operations and lead during the transition to Piccolo Me, a growing coffee brand.

You will oversee front- and back-of-house, recruit and train staff, maintain espresso quality, manage stock and budgets, and guide the team through the brand rollout with energy and pride.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as Café Manager or Assistant Manager in a busy hospitality env.
• Based in Adelaide and willing to stay long-term in the store.
• Exceptional barista skills and passion for quality food and service.
• Strong rostering, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Excited by brand transitions and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

You'll get immediate operational leadership, backed soon by the marketing power, creative menu offerings, and proven systems of a powerhouse brand.

Key responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure flawless service and speed during high-volume CBD peak times

Recruit, train, roster, and mentor local staff to foster a positive, energetic, and high-performing team culture

Maintain high standards in espresso extraction, food presentation, store hygiene, and customer service

Manage stock levels, food/beverage COGS, labor budgets, and operational cost controls

Champion the upcoming transition to Piccolo Me, guiding the team and local customer base through an exciting brand rollout and launch of brand-new menu concepts

About you

At least 2+ years of experience as a Café Manager or Assistant Manager in a busy, fast-paced hospitality environment (CBD experience preferred)

Based locally in Adelaide and ready to establish long-term roots in this store

Exceptional barista skills and a deep appreciation for quality food and customer experience

Strong communication, rostering, and organizational skills with an energetic "can-do" attitude

Excited by brand transitions, new marketing initiatives, and innovative menu rollouts
