Job summary

Coral Homes is seeking a Cadet Building Supervisor to support the delivery of multiple residential projects across the Sunshine Coast. You’ll work with Construction Managers to coordinate trades, manage build schedules, maintain quality and safety standards, and foster relationships with customers to ensure a smooth building experience from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV Building & Construction (or willingness to obtain)
• Knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Council requirements
• Experience coordinating trades and crews
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job description

As a Cadet Building Supervisor with Coral Homes, you’ll support the delivery of multiple residential construction projects across the Sunshine Coast region, ensuring homes are built safely, on schedule, and to our high standards of quality. With the support of experienced Construction Managers, you’ll assist in coordinating trades, managing build schedules, maintaining quality and safety standards, and fostering positive relationships with customers to ensure a seamless building experience from start to finish.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Managing multiple jobs including trades and labour

Skills & Experience

• Sound technical knowledge (home building experience and background)
• Strong knowledge of Australian Building Codes, Council requirements, and Covenants
• Certificate IV Building & Construction (or willingness to obtain)
• Site Supervisor Licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Demonstrated experience asateam player who can work unsupervised
• Good forward planning / programming / organisational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent professional and personal presentation
• Full unencumbered driver's licence (essential)
