Job summary

by charlotte is seeking a hands-on Business Systems Manager to own the technology stack end-to-end, drive AI and automation, and build a solid data foundation for a fast-growing jewellery brand.

You'll own ERP, POS, e‑commerce and SaaS platforms, lead AI adoption, manage MSP relationships, and guide the team in creating self-sufficient processes. A strong candidate is commercially minded and pragmatic about scalable tech in an SME.

Qualifications

• Proven experience owning or managing an ERP or comparable core business system.
• Practical experience rolling out AI, automation or workflow tools with measurable adoption and impact.
• Experience managing an IT MSP or technology vendors including contracts, SLAs and performance.

• Leading our AI adoption and workflow automation agenda across finance, retail, merchandise and marketing.

• Being the team's go-to for all things technology, and building guides, processes and training.
• Leading the cyber security roadmap with our MSP including access, identity management and data protection.
• Co-leading the multi-year transformation of technology and data infrastructure for smarter reporting, automation and insight.

We're looking for a hands‑on Business Systems Manager to take ownership of the technology that keeps by charlotte running, and to help shape what it becomes next. This is a rare chance to own an entire tech stack end to end, lead our AI and automation agenda, and build the systems and data foundation of a fast-growing jewellery brand, with real autonomy to make it your own.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Business Systems Manager, you'll be the product owner for our core technology, and the person who moves it forward. Key responsibilities include:

• Owning the ERP (Indigo8), POS, e-commerce and key SaaS platforms as product owner; their configuration, roadmap, and the integrations that connect them
• Leading our AI adoption and workflow automation agenda, finding and scaling high-value use cases across finance, retail, merchandise and marketing
• Owning our technology vendor and IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) relationships including contracts, SLAs, performance and renewals
• Being the team's go‑to for all things technology, and building the guides, processes and training that make everyone more self‑sufficient
• Leading our cyber security roadmap alongside our MSP including on access, identity management and data protection across our platforms
• Co‑leading the multi‑year transformation of our technology and data infrastructure, so the business has clean, joined‑up data for smarter reporting, automation and insight

The ideal candidate will also have:

• Proven experience owning or managing an ERP or comparable core business system, including roadmap and implementation delivery
• Practical experience rolling out AI, automation or workflow tools with measurable adoption and impact
• Experience managing an IT MSP or technology vendors including contracts, SLAs and performance
• Strong analytical skills, with familiarity with BI/reporting tools and the data structures beneath them
• Comfort owning technology outcomes in an SME or fast‑growing business, without a large internal IT team
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Data Analytics or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
• Experience in multi‑channel or retail environments, and with POS, e‑commerce or wholesale integrations (ideal, not essential)
