Fruition Recruitment is seeking a capable Business Support Officer in Geelong to provide broad administrative and operational support across systems, documentation, reporting, finance administration and daily coordination. You will maintain records, prepare reports, coordinate meetings and assist with invoicing and purchasing, helping the organisation move important actions forward.
The role involves onboarding, document control, process updates and practical improvements to internal workflows.
Our client is an established Geelong based organisation providing specialist services to a diverse and longstanding customer base. Known for the quality of its work and the strength of the relationships surrounding it, the business has grown through reputation, responsiveness and a willingness to continually improve how it operates. With several teams working across a busy service environment, it is now seeking a capable Business Support Officer who can bring order to competing priorities, maintain the systems behind the work and help the broader organisation operate at its best.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with leaders and team members across the business, the Business Support Officer will provide broad administrative and operational support spanning systems, documentation, reporting, finance administration and day-to-day coordination. The role will maintain accurate business and customer records, prepare reports and correspondence, coordinate meetings and internal activities, assist with invoicing and purchasing, support supplier administration and ensure that important actions continue moving across the organisation. It will also contribute to onboarding, document control, process updates and the practical implementation of improvements to internal systems and workflows. This is an involved support role rather than one built around a narrow set of recurring tasks. On any given day, the Business Support Officer may be preparing information for a leadership meeting, resolving an administrative issue, updating a procedure, following up an outstanding action or helping a colleague navigate a business system. Success will come from noticing what needs attention, understanding how the pieces connect and taking responsibility for bringing matters to a proper conclusion.
Professional, friendly and quietly ambitious, this is a business in which people take pride in being dependable. Team members are trusted to manage their responsibilities, ask sensible questions and help one another when priorities shift. The environment will suit someone who enjoys being useful, values accuracy and follow-through, and can bring calm organisation to a workplace where several things are often moving at once. Good ideas are welcomed, but credibility is built through action: doing what was promised, communicating early and leaving the work in better order than it was found.
