Job description

An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Enterprise Business Development Manager to join an established and growing technology services organisation.

This is a genuine net-new business role, suited to a commercially driven enterprise salesperson who knows how to identify strategic accounts, open doors and navigate complex technology sales cycles.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Enterprise Business Development Manager to join an established and growing technology services organisation.

This is a genuine net-new business role, suited to a commercially driven enterprise salesperson who knows how to identify strategic accounts, open doors and navigate complex technology sales cycles.

You’ll take ownership of identifying and winning strategic enterprise customers, managing the complete sales journey from initial account planning and prospecting through discovery, solution development, commercial negotiation and close.

Working closely with Solution Architects, technical specialists, strategic technology partners and internal services teams, you’ll help customers navigate complex networking and security requirements and develop solutions aligned to their business outcomes.

This isn’t an account-management-heavy position. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys new-logo acquisition and is comfortable proactively creating opportunities rather than relying solely on inbound leads.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Identify and target strategic enterprise organisations across agreed markets and verticals.
  • Own complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from initial prospecting through to commercial negotiation and close.
  • Develop targeted account plans and outbound strategies to generate new opportunities.
  • Build relationships with senior and C-suite stakeholders across prospective enterprise customers.
  • Generate pipeline through your own network alongside marketing, vendor and strategic partner channels.
  • Work closely with Solution Architects and technical specialists to develop tailored networking and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Build strong relationships across the broader technology partner ecosystem.
  • Maintain ownership of pipeline management, forecasting and the commercial integrity of your opportunities.
  • Stay across evolving networking, cybersecurity and managed services technologies and propositions.
What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally bring:

  • 5+ years of proven enterprise new-business sales experience across technology services, networking or cybersecurity.
  • Strong experience selling Cisco networking and/or security solutions into enterprise customers.
  • A background within a Cisco partner, Systems Integrator, MSP or networking/security technology vendor.
  • A demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding new-business targets.
  • Experience navigating complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, cybersecurity and managed services.
  • A genuine hunter mentality with the resilience to proactively build pipeline and win new logos.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across customers, technology partners and internal technical teams.
Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join a business that combines established technology partnerships and technical capability with a strong focus on continued growth.

You’ll have access to specialist technical resources while retaining ownership of your enterprise relationships and new-business strategy.

The broader benefits package includes 25 days annual leave, flexible working, quarterly awards and bonuses, private medical insurance contributions, company shares after qualifying tenure, gym membership support, enhanced parental leave and funding for additional qualifications and professional development.

Only successful applicants who have full working rights in Australia or NZ will be shortlisted and contacted.
