Job summary

Prime Creative Media - Publishing is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join our events team, working across an established portfolio of industry events, media and digital solutions. This role focuses on the mining and resources sector, with strong emphasis on outbound prospecting and relationship-building to generate new business opportunities.

You’ll be supported by an experienced team while developing your sales skills, presenting our offerings, and building long-term client

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales or business development is preferred.
• Comfortable speaking with clients over the phone and in person.
• Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Proactively generate new business through outbound calling, meetings, referrals and networking.
• Present and pitch exhibition, sponsorship, media and digital opportunities to clients.
• Spend time in the field meeting customers and building industry relationships.
• Understand customer objectives and priorities through discovery to tailor solutions.
