Job summary

Origin Group is expanding its presence in the Mackay region and seeking a proactive business development professional to drive new opportunities in mining, industrial, and resources sectors. You will build relationships, qualify leads, and tailor solutions with internal teams to meet client needs.

In this role, you will manage end-to-end sales activities, prepare quotations, and contribute to growth initiatives while maintaining high standards of client service and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experienced in sales, business development or a related industrial environment.
• Trade background in engineering, fabrication, mechanical or similar industry desirable.
• Self-motivated, driven and confident.
• Strong interpersonal skills and time management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Understand customer requirements and identify Origin Group solutions.
• Prepare and follow up quotations and proposals.
