Job summary

Candii is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in freight forwarding across 3PL, air, sea and project shipments. You will build strong relationships with importers and exporters, collaborating with operations to tailor end-to-end freight solutions while pursuing new commercial opportunities.

The role requires a proven sales track record, strategic thinking and expert knowledge of international logistics, with Australian working rights and Brisbane residency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in freight forwarding with a strong sales background.
• Proven track record in securing new business and growing revenue.
• Confident, relationship-first approach with strong negotiation skills.
• Deep knowledge of international logistics (import/export, 3PL, incoterms, etc.).
• Strategic thinking and ability to tailor solutions for each client.
• Full Australian working rights.

About the Role
As a Business Development Manager you will be reporting into the General Manager and you'll:

• Drive new business across 3PL, air, sea, and projects with in Freight forwarding
• Build and manage strong relationships with importers, exporters, and supply chain leaders
• Collaborate with operations to deliver end-to-end freight solutions that meet client needs
• Identify commercial opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share
• Represent the business at meetings, events, and trade functions to promote brand visibility

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• 3+ years in freight forwarding, with a strong background in sales or commercial roles
• Proven track record in securing new business and growing revenue
• A confident, relationship-first approach with strong negotiation skills
• Deep knowledge of international logistics (import/export, 3PL, incoterms, etc.)
• Strategic thinking and ability to tailor solutions for each client
• Full Australian working rights (Citizen, PR, or NZ Citizen)
• Located in Brisbane, QLD
