Job summary

WOW Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager to operate between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, targeting repairs and maintenance contracts across Residential, Commercial, Health, and Education sectors. The role offers a base of AUD 100k–120k plus uncapped commission, with phone and car provided and WFH days post-probation.

Ideal candidates include tradies who moved into dealmaking or property professionals with deep QLD market knowledge. Flexible work arrangements after probation.

Qualifications

• Trade or property management background highly advantageous.
• On-site experience in construction or real estate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure commercial opportunities across Residential, Commercial, Health, and Education sectors.
• Build and manage a strong project pipeline.
• Manage sales cycles from lead to close, with a target-driven approach.
• Leverage existing relationships with developers, architects, and project managers across QLD; collaborate with Ops and Project Managers to ensure delivery.

This isn't a \"sit behind a desk\" role. We’re looking for a high-energy, \"attitude-first\" operator to secure repairs and maintenance contracts across the Residential, Commercial, Health, and Education sectors.

The Role

You’ll be identifying and securing commercial opportunities across retail, industrial, health, and education sectors. You aren't just \"finding leads\"—you’re owning the strategy.

• Pipeline Power: Build and manage a strong project pipeline


• High-Value Deals: Manage sales cycles from 5 days to 9 weeks for larger projects


• The Network: Leverage your existing relationships with developers, architects, and project managers across QLD.


• Internal Synergy: Work closely with our Ops and Project Managers to ensure what you sell is delivered to perfection.

What You Bring to the Table

• The \"Tradie\" Edge: Ideally, you’ve been on-site. You understand the \"how\" and \"why\" of construction repairs.


• Property Fluency: If you aren’t a tradie, you’ve spent 10+ years in Property or Real Estate and know the Kingscliff/GC/Brisbane market inside out.


• The Grind: You’re comfortable with a high-performance environment. You track your quotes (5 per week) and focus on a 40% conversion rate.
