Hynash Group in Bathurst seeks an experienced Fleet Hire Business Development leader to drive growth and optimise fleet utilisation. The role is autonomous with targets and financial rewards aligned to sales performance and fleet efficiency.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will build external fleet hire networks, allocate resources for profitable outcomes, and lead tendering for non-construction activities across the group. Travel may be required to support projects.

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven leader in Fleet Hire Business Development. The role is autonomous with targets for new business generated and fleet utilisation, with financial rewards for sales growth delivered. An all-rounder who can handle daily challenges as they arise, while maintaining the composure to deliver on objectives and strategic direction.
Allocating resources effectively and delivering profitable outcomes for the current fleet, through internal and external opportunities is the key objective. Reporting to the Managing Director, this position requires you to be a dynamic, self-starting individual, who will take ownership of their performance.
You will be responsible for the productivity, utilisation and growth of the Hynash Group Fleet. Leading the sales efforts for non-construction activities across the entire group.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Building our network of external fleet hire customers and coordinating projects.
Efficiently allocate fleet for optimised returns to the business.
Be actively involved in the quoting and tendering of work
Develop strong relationships with customers, suppliers and staff
Record and report on productivity and profitability of yourdepartment.
Promoting and encouraging a positive and strong safety culture
Ensure WHSE and operational documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner.
Please note that whilst the work location for this position in based in Bathurst, travel may be required depending on project locations and opportunities to grow the business.
Must have minimum three years sales experience preferably in either fleet hire, earthmoving, heavy construction, transport and/or demolition industries.
Be capable of multi-tasking and handling high workloads.
Ability to find new business and create relationships without prior introduction.
Demonstrate the ability to convert opportunities into profitable transactions.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with people.
Excellent time and resource management
Current Driver's License
General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Previous experience/qualifications in mechanical or industrial trade.
Qualifications and understanding of current WHSE legislation and regulations in NSW.
Remuneration and bonus structure will be negotiated depending on experience and underpinned by actionable and measurable outcomes.
