Job summary

FleetPartners is seeking an experienced professional to provide customer support and technical input for the management of commercial fleets. You will ensure vehicles and equipment meet industry standards and operate within regulatory guidelines, while maintaining a hands-on approach both on-site and on the road.

You will lead maintenance program development, conduct fleet and workshop audits, and act as an escalation point for high-cost repairs, warranty disputes and major failures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience in the heavy vehicle fleet or mechanical repair industry.
• Strong knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry.
• Trade qualification and willingness to obtain an HR licence; valid driver’s licence required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain maintenance programs for large heavy commercial vehicle fleets.
• Carry out fleet and workshop audits in line with maintenance programs.
• Perform build management and new vehicle inspections on all new heavy commercial vehicle assets.
• Act as escalation point for high cost repairs, major failures, warranty disputes, etc.
• Serve as subject matter expert for customer strategic reviews or similar.
• Raise and amend quotes as required.
