Job summary

Sime Darby Fleet Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager to oversee NSW sales activity, nurture the existing client base and drive growth across the NSW region. The role involves coordinating with the Eastern Regional Manager and regular travel to Singleton and Rydalmere branches.

You will develop regional sales plans, pursue new business opportunities, and maintain strong client relationships while delivering timely market insights and reports.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in business-to-business sales.
• Proven business development experience and sales results.
• Experience in motor vehicle or industrial services an advantage.
• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Commerce or Business advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Development and execution of a regional NSW sales plan to meet sales, profit and market position targets.
• Identify and develop new business within NSW via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing deals.
• Manage client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle.
• Provide accurate and timely market and project feedback using available tools.
• Provide accurate and timely reports as required.

Anopportunity now exists for a Business Development Manager - NSW. Reporting to the Eastern Regional Manager. This position plays a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the existing client base, whilst pursuing growth and new business development in accordance with the regional sales, marketing and account management objectives.

This position can be based out of our Rydalmere branchwith regular travel to our Singleton branch or Singleton branch with regular travel to our Rydalmere branch.

The key responsibilities are as follows:

• Development and execution of a regional sales plan to ensure short and long-term objectives for sales, profit and market position are achieved




• Identify and develop new business within the NSW region via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing deals




• Manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle




• Providing accurate and timely feedback on market conditions, customer and project developments using the tools provided




• Providing accurate and timely reports as required

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Demonstrated experience in a business to business sales position




• Proven business development experience and sales results




• Experience working within the motor vehicle industry or an industrial services environment




• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Commerce, Business or related discipline advantageous




• Effective communication skills




• Effective decision making and problem-solving skills




• Advanced report writing skills




• A high level of proficiency in MS Office suite




• Licence to drive manual vehicles (C class) essential
