Corporate trustee, custody and responsible entity services

Full time, permanent. Collins St, Melbourne.

A specialist provider of corporate trustee, custody and responsible entity services is growing its Business Development team. The business works across retail and wholesale investment structures, corporate debt and capital arrangements, under its own AFS and Credit Licences.

This is a role for someone early in their business development career. You will support the Senior Business Development Manager as the firm grows its client base across trustee, custody and corporate trust mandates.

The work sits close to origination. You will help qualify new business, manage the pipeline and CRM, and prepare proposals, pitch materials and RFP responses. You will coordinate meetings, run market and competitor research, and support industry events.

You will also help new clients move from first contact through to onboarding. That means working alongside the Relationship Management and Client Services teams, and keeping records accurate throughout.

What the person will bring:

• One to three years in business development, sales support or client service, ideally in financial or professional services
• Strong written communication and a high level of attention to detail
• Confidence with CRM systems
• An interest in trustee, custody or funds management, which is well regarded

The person who does well here is proactive, commercially minded and interested in building long term relationships. Some interstate travel is part of the role.
