MSC Group is seeking a Client Services Associate to join our team on Clarence Street, Sydney. You will be the day-to-day contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to complex transaction documents.
Reporting to a Relationship Manager, you will build strong client relationships, review legal documents, log incidents in the compliance system, assist with billing, and help onboard/offboard clients.

MSC Group is looking for a Client Services Associate to join our team on Clarence Street, Sydney.
We work with institutional clients, investment consultants and service providers across a portfolio of custody and trustee arrangements. This is a genuinely varied role. No two days look the same, and you'll be trusted with real responsibility from day one.
Reporting to a Relationship Manager, you'll be the day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of clients, keeping things running smoothly and making sure both our clients and our business meet their obligations under complex transaction documents.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and service providers, and act as the primary contact for operational and administrative matters
Review credit and real estate documentation as part of the client relationship
Keep our systems up to date, including logging incidents in the compliance management system
Support meeting preparation, coordinate calendars and keep CRM notes current
Assist with billing and follow up on overdue invoices
Manage client onboarding and offboarding end to end, making sure every step is completed by the right person before the next one starts
Represent the business at relevant industry seminars and events
At least 3 years' experience in a similar role in financial services (trustee industry experience highly regarded)
Confidence reading, interpreting and negotiating legal and contractual documents
Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with people at all levels
A track record of thriving under pressure in a busy, commercial, deadline driven environment
The ability to juggle competing priorities without losing attention to detail
Sharp analytical and critical thinking skills, and the initiative to solve problems as they come up
Comfort working independently as well as part of a close knit team
