Job summary

Nixora Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Business Analyst to define and deliver changes across multiple workstreams in VIC. You will liaise with stakeholders to elicit requirements, translate them into detailed functional specs and user stories, and support testing, change management, and deployment to ensure regulatory and business alignment.

You will document requirements, perform data analysis, map dependencies, and promote test automation where possible.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Engagement: Gather, analyse, and confirm business requirements for data, model, process, and system changes.
• Solution Definition: Translate business needs into functional specs and user stories, ensuring testable outcomes.
• Delivery Coordination: Support testing, implementation, and change management to deployment.
• Requirements Definition: Document detailed requirements and translate into testable technical outcomes.
• Analysis and Design: Convert requirements into stories, acceptance criteria, and system designs.
• Dependency Mapping: Document system dependencies and ensure traceability through lifecycle.
• Testing Oversight: Develop test plans and participate in UAT/SIT; promote test automation where possible.
• Change Implementation: Prepare teams for process and system changes for adoption.
• Operational Readiness: Ensure features/platforms are ready for business use and support.
• Issue Resolution: Analyse logs to identify root causes and track improvements.
• Collaboration Tools: Use JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, MS Teams for docs and progress.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with SMEs, developers, testers, and vendors to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Risk Management: Identify data quality and testing risks and define mitigations.
