Job summary

Nisus Australia is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale reform program in Canberra. The role focuses on uplifting regulatory capability through design, development and implementation of new processes, resourcing, tools, systems and technology.

Essential candidates will have 5+ years as a Business Analyst, strong documentation and the ability to write user stories in Agile, plus excellent communication across business and technical teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and strong documentation skills.
• Proven ability to write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria in Agile.
• Ability to ensure regulatory and policy alignment throughout transformation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, translating business to tech concepts.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and guiding complex stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Backfill an existing Business Analyst role on a large scale reform program.
• Design, develop and implement new processes, resourcing, tools and systems.
• Uplift regulatory capability and ensure compliance across program deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders; present clear analyses and recommendations.
