Job summary

McMahon Services is seeking a Building Site Manager to lead on-site activities in our Northern Territory team. You will work closely with the Project Management group to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

The role requires proven site leadership, construction experience, and the ability to coordinate with subcontractors while maintaining a strong safety culture. A defence clearance and pre-employment medical are favorable.

About The Role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing leadership on all site activities in a close relationship and collaboration with the Project Management team. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget.

What You Will Do

• Manage the site team to ensure work is carried out to a high standard at all times
• Foster a strong safety culture, making safety the number one priority
• Collaborate with project management team to ensure compliance with client & McMahon Services's processes
• Training, mentor, lead & motivate staff on project sites
• Ensure project is meeting time and resource management
• Manage short term planning to ensure project milestones are achieved

What You Will Bring

• Proven experience in site management and project delivery within the construction sector
• Construction trade qualified or equivalent industry experience
• Strong understanding of construction programs and methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage teams and coordinate subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain a defence clearance
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
