Job summary

McMahon Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects across South Australia, delivering from pre-construction through to completion.

You will oversee project performance, budgets and client relationships while mentoring Project Managers and site teams to ensure safe, on-time delivery and the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience delivering commercial construction projects.
• Experience delivering Design & Construct projects.
• Experience with Tier 2 or high-performing Tier 3 contractor.
• Demonstrated experience delivering multi-storey commercial construction projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project financial performance.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and project delivery methodologies.
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or similar.

About the Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will provide leadership across the delivery of complex commercial construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams, you will oversee project performance, commercial outcomes and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You will also provide leadership and mentoring to Project Managers and site teams, helping develop capability across the business.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience delivering Design & Construct projects
• Experience working with a Tier 2 contractor or high-performing Tier 3 contractor
• Demonstrated experience delivering multi-storey commercial construction projects
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project financial performance
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and project delivery methodologies
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or similar (preferred)
