Job summary

Bright & Duggan Property Group is seeking a Building Manager to oversee the repairs and maintenance of common property across two sites, including a site visit to Golden Beach and Maroochydore. You will ensure safety, function, and aesthetics of shared facilities, reporting to the Branch Manager and coordinating with contractors and administration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as building manager or similar role in strata/facilities management.
• Strong understanding of building systems, facilities management, and maintenance best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with residents, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address critical maintenance issues to ensure safety and functionality of essential building systems.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and foster strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
• Participate in regular meetings with management, clients, and contractors; provide updates on building operations.
• Develop and maintain a regular maintenance schedule for preventative maintenance.
• Prepare and negotiate new contracts and service agreements to meet building requirements.
• Ensure all building operations comply with local regulations and standards through audits and inspections.
• Respond to emergencies and urgent issues, communicating effectively with tenants and stakeholders during incidents.
