Minor Hotels is seeking a hands-on Maintenance & Facilities Manager for AVANI Broadbeach Residences on the Gold Coast. You will lead property operations, supervise preventive maintenance, and coordinate contractors to ensure safe, reliable building systems and efficient service delivery.

In this role you’ll manage capital projects, drive asset care, maintain WHS compliance, and mentor a small team in a hospitality environment. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance and facilities management experience in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and compliance.
• Experience coordinating with contractors and vendors.
• Experience implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Responsabilités

• Lead preventive maintenance programs across hotel facilities.
• Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Supervise service areas (electrical, mechanical, pest control, cleaning, fire protection, security).
• Oversee building upkeep (painting, plastering, carpentry).
• Ensure WHS compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
• Manage stock, purchasing and supplier coordination.
• Prepare quotes, schedule works and manage Capex requests.
• Contribute to asset planning and sustainability initiatives.
