Job summary
Prospex Recruiting represents a leading Australian-owned business seeking a Service Engineer to join a team specialising in Building Automation and energy management for commercial and industrial buildings in Sydney. The role involves diagnostics, servicing BMS/EMS, and scheduled maintenance, with opportunities to work on projects and upgrades.
The ideal candidate has a tertiary engineering qualification, 1–2 years in a similar role, knowledge of BMS/EMS, strong analytical and communication
Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Automation) or related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant engineering or service engineering experience.
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) or Energy Management Systems (EMS) is preferred.
- Strong ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and service Building Automation / EMS systems.
- Design and programming of BMS / HVAC control systems.
- Project management and small project work.
- Interact with clients in a consultative capacity to understand needs and propose solutions.
