New Venture Recruitment is seeking a Technical Service Manager for Building Management Systems (BMS) in Sydney. This role leads a small team of technicians and oversees service, maintenance, and minor works projects across key client accounts.

You will drive technical leadership and operational delivery, ensuring exceptional support throughout the project lifecycle and fostering long-term client partnerships. Strong BMS knowledge and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in the BMS, controls or building automation industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of BMS service and project delivery.
• Experience leading or mentoring technicians, engineers or service teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support a team of BMS technicians.
• Provide technical expertise across service, maintenance and minor works projects.
• Manage project delivery from quotation and planning through to commissioning and handover.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for key clients.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements, upgrades and optimisation.
• Support service growth initiatives within existing client accounts.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for a Technical Service Manager to lead a small team of technicians while overseeing the successful delivery of service, maintenance and minor works projects across a portfolio of key clients.

The Role

Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for the technical leadership and operational delivery of service and minor projects, ensuring clients receive exceptional support throughout the full project lifecycle.
