Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a skilled Building Management System (BMS) Service Engineer to join our Sydney Services team. You will install, maintain and optimise BMS across premier customer sites in Sydney, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver reliable energy management outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring strong fault-finding, commissioning and programming experience in building automation, with excellent communication and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Controls, Instrumentation or related discipline.
• Experience with commissioning, programming or service delivery within building automation environments.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Diagnosing faults and delivering effective technical solutions.
• Programming, commissioning and modifying BMS control strategies.
• Developing and deploying logic engineering and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Identifying opportunities to improve system performance, reliability and energy efficiency.
• Building trusted relationships with customers and acting as their technical advisor.
• Delivering work safely, efficiently and within agreed timeframes.
• Participating in a rotating on-call roster (allowances and overtime apply).
